Traveling to a new city can be quite an interesting experience. If the place is completely new to you, it is always advisable to go for guidance before setting out for the travel. For instance if you are going for a road travel in Australia, you have to be extremely careful about various things.

If you are not having a license from Australia, it is always safe to have an international license that will be accepted in Australia before going for a road travel there. You will have to follow the speed limits under Australian rules which might vary based on states. A normal speed allowed is 100-100 kph. Hitch-hiking is illegal and should not be practiced anyway.

In Australia, you should expect native animals such as Kangaroos to lie on the road surface at night. Extreme care should be taken while you are going for road travel during cold weather. You have to be careful about the road-trains that are present in Australia. They will share road with you. So give enough road space for them when going along with.
