Xelha is the seat of the Mayan civilization. It is here that the great civilization took its birth to leave an indelible mark on the face of the world. Situated in the modern day Playa Del Camren the historical site is one of the major tourist attractions in Mexico. There is lot to see here at Xel-Ha.

There is a lot of history to this place which one can never get enough of. The ruins speak of the greatness of the greatest civilization that once was in its prime. The major areas to be seen here are Coba, Tanach and Tumul. These were all major ports during the Mayan civilization and have been the flag bearers of the richness of the civilization, which till date, even in utter ruins speak of its glory. One needs to do a lot of walking when on the trip hence proper walking gear and proper sun protection gear also should be taken along.
