North Waterfront park Trail

If you are new to hiking then this 1.7 mile hiking trail is good for a start. Besides being more or less a flat trail it follows the beautiful shoreline of San Francisco and Angel Island offering you a wonderful view round the year. This trail is open from 6 am in the morning to 10 at night so you can plan a trip at any time of the day

Crissy Field

If you are looking for something more exciting then try this 5 miles Crissy field hiking which takes you to the lovely promenade of Golden Gate right to the awesome bridge with an extraordinary view. You can make a stopover at Sausalito to have a cup of coffee or for having a snack. If tired there are numerous buses available that can take you back to Crissy field or else continue with your wonderful hiking expedition.
